Welcome to Operation Trading Wheels!
Operation Trading Wheels is a group affiliated with the 2009 Leadership Jumpstart class trying to bring a bike-sharing program to Penn State. Ultimately, they hope to make bicycle transportation simple, cheap, efficient, and readily available for as many students as possible around campus through a campus-wide program. Such programs have been functioning in Europe for several years, and are just recently beginning to infiltrate college campuses across the country. This effort is a service project and not for profit, intended to meet the following goals:
-Offering an efficient means of environmentally friendly transportation
-Increasing awareness about sustainable means of transportation among college students
-Inspiring healthy physical fitness habits among college students
-And encouraging the acceptance of communal sharing principles among college students
