It’s International Women’s Day – Here’s What YOU Can Do to Participate

In addition to being International Women’s Day, it’s also “A Day Without Women.” What does that mean? It’s a day for women (and men) to join together and bring awareness to gender inequality and discrimination. So what can you do? According to the Women’s March website, here are the guidelines:

1. Women take the day off, from paid and unpaid labor
2. Avoid shopping for one day (with exceptions for small, women- and minority-owned businesses).
3. Wear RED in solidarity with A Day Without A Woman
