Do you ever see a new television show that looks interesting and you keep telling yourself that you’re going to watch it, but then you never do because you forget?
That show is Black-Ish for me. Ever since it came out in 2014, I’ve wanted to sit down and binge the whole thing. With the numerous awards, accolades, and star-studded cast… of course it’s on the list! Fast-forward the present; the final season is already right around the corner.
In this eighth and final season of Black-Ish, you may see a familiar face… someone who used to live in the WHITE HOUSE. None other than Michelle Obama.
So how did the former First Lady get this gig? Black-Ish star Tracee Ellis Ross personally called to invite her on the show and she accepted!
Tracee Ellis Ross said, “It felt really fun to welcome someone so special who’s been so important in our world, in our culture, in the kinds of stories we told on Black-ish,”

The final season of Black-Ish will premiere today (January 4th) at 9:30PM EST on ABC.
