I’m sure this isn’t the news that the BTS fan base, affectionally called the BTS Army, wanted to wake up to.

Internationally recognized K-Pop boy band BTS announced that they are going on a hiatus. But that’s ok because a hiatus means that they will be back eventually! Right?!

Band member Jungkook said, “We’re each going to take some time to have fun and experience lots of things. We promise we will return someday even more mature than we are now.”

And another representative said, “To be clear, they are not on hiatus but will take time to explore some solo projects at this time and remain active in various different formats.”

Looks like they really want to reiterate that they’re coming back and this will be a temporary situation.
