29(and counting) live-action films. Six live-action Disney Plus streaming series’. One animated Disney Plus streaming series. Kevin Feige and Disney have created a monster named the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But which of these 36 MCU-canon properties sits above the rest?

Ms. Marvel. That’s what Rotten Tomatoes says at the least!

Following the six-episode series’ finale on Wednesday July 13th, critic reviews rated the Jersey City-based show as a 98% fresh show, the top rating any MCU property has(to date).

The show named after the Pakistani-American superhero and portrayed by Iman Vellani took the top spot from 2018’s Black Panther, which sits at a still stellar 96% fresh rating from the critics.

While Ms. Marvel holds the top spot for critics ratings, it’s 80% audience-rated level was not enough to dethrone either Spider-Man: No Way Home nor Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, which sees both 2021 releases sitting at a 98% rating from viewers.
