If you’re a theatre fan like I am, then you are probably PUMPED that the hit Broadway show Wicked is becoming a movie! The show serves as a prequel to the events in the Judy Garland-let movie, The Wizard of Oz. The show is also based on the 1995 Gregory Maguire novel Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West.

Previously, pop star Ariana Grande was announced to lead as the character Glinda/Galinda, and actress/singer Cynthia Erivo will play Elphaba.

Now… we have our Fiyero!

Jonathan Bailey of the hit show Bridgerton was just announced as the latest addition to the cast by director Jon M. Chu.

But can he sing?? Oh sure he can.
