Halfmoon Township in conjunction with the independent local citizens’ organization B.A.R.N. (Building Anti-Racist Neighborhoods), will hold a free, community event on Sunday, Sept. 12, 2021 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the municipal park located at 100 Municipal Lane in Port Matilda (Halfmoon Township), Pa. The event, focused on bringing friends and neighbors together, will feature resources available within the community such as Scouts, Hands On Therapeutic Riding, Storytime with Schlow Library and the Community Café among others. Come and enjoy food from the Patton/Halfmoon Lions Club, games, music, a “Worst” minster dog show and much more. Live music provided by Jim Herbert and Charlie Rury of Group Therapy Acoustic Band.
